As sunshine was brimming with grace
A distant memory came gushing down
To the horizon extended my gaze
All I could see was meadows, but no more were they green or brown
My vision seemed to fade away
And so so did my conscience.
Reminiscing, my spirit swayed
And searched, searched for the perfect lines
Lines which once enthralled my heart
It was running out, time.
I was too late to regret, to enjoy, it was time for the memories to depart.
